Short versionRECSOL LLC is a company established with a 50% equity participation by Tegeta Motors. Through its investment, an unprecedented automotive waste recycling hub is being developed in the city of Rustavi.
The primary objective of RECSOL is to play a critically important role in the development of Georgia’s waste recycling industry, achieved through factories equipped with innovative technologies:
- The Bandag plant (Bridgestone technology): retreading of used tires by applying new treads and returning them to the market in renewed condition.
- End-of-life tire recycling plant: producing granulated material used as a key ingredient in environmentally friendly and durable infrastructure products.
- Automotive battery recycling plant: neutralizing environmentally hazardous substances contained in used batteries and, after recovery, reintroducing valuable materials back into the circular economy.

RECSOL LLC is a Georgia-based company established with 50% equity participation from Tegeta Motors, one of the country’s leading automotive groups. The company is developing an integrated automotive waste-recycling hub in Rustavi, designed to support Georgia’s transition toward a modern, compliant, and circular waste-management ecosystem.
RECSOL’s mission is to contribute meaningfully to the environmentally responsible management of automotive waste, through industrial-scale facilities that apply proven technologies, international operational standards, and robust governance principles. The project is structured to reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and support long-term sustainable development.
Tire retreading facility (Bandag / Bridgestone technology)
A tire retreading plant based on Bandag technology, part of the Bridgestone group, extending the useful life of tires through high-quality retreading processes. This activity reduces raw-material consumption, lowers lifecycle emissions, and supports responsible asset reuse.
End-of-life tire recycling facility
A dedicated plant for the processing of end-of-life tires into rubber granules and powders for use in infrastructure, industrial, and environmental applications, contributing to landfill diversion and the substitution of virgin materials.
Automotive battery recycling facility
A specialized operation for the safe treatment of used automotive batteries, ensuring the neutralization of hazardous substances and the recovery of valuable materials for reintroduction into the circular economy, in line with environmental and safety requirements.
